Get Started

Siemens’ UMove mail deliverability software is fully certified by the USPS® and allows mailers to identify, sort and remove “undeliverable as addressed” mail prior to submission to the USPS®.

Getting started with UMove is quick and easy. In addition, UMove is compatible with most legacy multi-line optical character reading (MLOCR) equipment currently running FASTforward®

Process

The process to run UMove as your mail forwarding system is simple and straightforward. Follow the steps below to view further details of the Siemens’ Mail Processing Equipment (MPE) Service Provider Certification Flow. We make it easy to make the move to Siemens’ UMove.

  1. Contact Siemens or your sorter vendor for UMove. You will be provided with UMove and NCOALink® licensing agreements.
  2. Fill out and submit the NCOALink® Data User Certification documents to USPS.
  3. Once USPS approves the document, complete and submit the UMove License Agreement along with UMove fees to Siemens.
  4. You will receive a UMove system along with appropriate sorter interface software.
  5. Install UMove.
  6. Perform and pass a USPS NCOALink MPE certification test. (Similar in nature to a USPS FASTforward® test)
  7. Your Certified!  You can begin processing mail through the NCOALink Product.
